Your handpan, your scale
The app learns the notes of your pan through the microphone, teaches grooves from tablature and plays backing tracks in its scale.
Tap a note or press keys 0 to 9
The scale of your pan
Play each note into the microphone and the app records its pitch and how many cents it is off. Or pick a scale from the catalog of 31, from D Kurd to Hijaz. The pan drawing, the lessons and the backing tracks all follow it.
Training
53 lessons in 16 chapters: sound and hands, first grooves, Arabic rhythms, six-eight, odd meters. Every lesson is written as tablature with the note numbers of your pan. Slow it down to 25% and loop the bar that gives you trouble.
Lesson: Heartbeat
Ding on one, tak on two and four, right hand on the count, left on the "and".

Questions
Do I need my own handpan?
No. The virtual pan plays from taps and the keyboard, with every scale for free. With your own pan it is better: the lessons use its notes.
Does the app hear me play?
Only while it measures your scale. During a lesson it does not listen: you play along with the pan on screen and the tablature, and mark a clean run yourself.
Where does it run?
In the browser on a phone or a computer, and on Android. After the first visit the web version works offline, except lesson videos and payment.
